Quality starts long before a product ships. This is how we choose materials and makers.
Materials we choose with care
We choose our materials with care. Our products will contain no PVC, no fur, leather or other animal materials, and nothing that faces safety restrictions or bans. Before production, we will ask each supplier for a written statement of the materials used in every part. We will only describe a material property when we hold a written declaration that backs it up.
Suppliers we vet
Before working with a supplier, we will compare several makers. We will look at how long they have been trading, their quality-control process and the quality guarantee they offer, and we aim to choose suppliers who accept independent inspection.
Checks before shipping
Before goods leave the factory, we plan to arrange our own pre-shipment checks, separate from the supplier’s own quality control.
Doing things properly
We will follow the packaging, labeling and preparation rules of the marketplaces we sell on, and we will work with licensed freight forwarders and customs brokers to import correctly into the United States.
